Rocket Words

Rocket Words - When students complete a list of Rocket Words, please place it in my box.  I will write them a certificate, have their name read on morning annoucements, write their name on the Rocket Reader List in my room, and give them the next higher word list.

**If the list is too challenging, please let me know! 

Yellow Tickets

Please award no more than 1 yellow ticket per tutoring session.  They can be for a job well done, working hard, overcoming a challenge, or completing their rocket words.  Tickets are located in the BEARS nametag holders.  In the spot marked teacher, please write "BEARS tutor".

Getting to Know Your Student

All student folders contain a "Getting to Know You" form.


Please use it to interview your student during your 1st or 2nd session.  You could even let them ask you some questions too!

If you are volunteering from Christian Fellowship Church in Ashburn, VA please download your application and background check forms click here.


Please return applications to CFC:
Applications and background check forms must be returned to CFC.  Forms can be dropped off at CFC door 100 (Church Offices).  Ask the receptionist to place it in the finance drop box.  Forms can also be mailed to:  Christian Fellowship Church, Attn: Outreach, 21673 Beaumeade Circle, Ashburn, VA 20147.  If you have questions about returning forms, please contact Leigh Anne Hickey, Outreach Admin Assistant, at lhickey@cfellowshipc.org or 703-729-3900, ext. 4220.
